Quick actions
- To stop receiving messages: Reply STOP to any message from this number. Opt-out is immediate and permanent.
- To reach the business that sent you a message: Look at the message itself — the business name is included in every send. Contact them directly through their normal channels.

Who sent me this message?
Every message sent through Retention IQ identifies the business sending it. If you don't recognize the business, it's most likely a service provider you visited in the past who has invited you to receive cadence-based reminders or offers. You opted in at some point when you signed up for their service — either via a web form, an intake form, or verbally at the front desk. Reply STOP if you no longer wish to receive messages.
Why am I getting up to 2 messages per month?
Retention IQ caps message frequency at a maximum of 2 per month per business you've opted in with. Messages are cadence-aware — they only fire when you're due for a follow-up based on the type of service you previously received.
Are messages free?
The business sending the message does not charge you. Your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates depending on your plan.
What about my privacy?
Your phone number and message history are stored encrypted at rest, accessible only to the specific business that owns the relationship with you. We do not sell, share, or rent recipient data. Full details in our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
I think I'm getting messages without consenting — what do I do?
Reply STOP to immediately halt the messages. Then email hello@retentioniq.io with the phone number and a screenshot of the message — we'll investigate which business added you and review their consent record. If consent wasn't properly captured, we will remove your number from the platform entirely.
